Shortcut issue
Hi all!
I´ve created an unstall shortcut as follow:
Start menu -> all programs -> MyProduct -> uninstall MyProduct.
the "uninstall MyProduct" shortcut has the follwwing prperties:
Advertised: Yes
Target: [SystemFolder]msiexec.exe
Feature: MandatoryFeature
Arguments: /i {[ProductCode]}
Bevor the installtion starts i cann choose the features i want install:
feature1
feature2
feature3
MandatoryFeature
I choose all feature for installing, after system reboot i click "uninstall MyProduct" wich brings me to the maintenance mode. This time i dosen´t select feature1 for installation, after system reboot i call again "uninstall MyProduct" wich starts directly to uninstalling the product without enabling me make feature choise (maintenance mode). Why dosent it call the maintenance mode? Please help me resolving this problem !
Thanks in advance for your time...

I think the reason why nobody anwsers this question is because almost everybody uses the add/remove programs in configuration screen to either repair the software or to uninstall it.
The rest will use the "create an uninstallation shortcut" button in the project assistent shortcut screen to let the uninstall button be created.
So there will not be much experience with using an uninstall short created like you did.
Good luck
