Hi I'm running to the following issue in an installscript project.
1. I start the installation process and install all the files but end-task (kill) the install process before I finish the install.
2. No setup.ilg file is created. When I go to remove it from Add/Remove programs. The setup process does not start in maintenance mode and starts to install again
3. If I cancel an bogus setup.ilg is created
4. Now I cannot uninstall without deleting the registry.
Is there anyway to protect the user from this scenario?
