Please can anyone tell me how to get InstallShield 2009 Express to put a copy of setup.exe onto the server folder during an administrative setup (setup /a)?
An administrative install is performed by Windows Installer (setup.exe launches msiexec.exe /a on your MSI package). Since Windows Installer has no knowledge of setup.exe, it will not be copied. Is there something specific in your project that requires setup.exe for the admin image created?
