Setting registry permissions
Hello,
I was trying to create\modify a key name in registry.
The msi setup process informed me I need adminstrator permissions.
How do I change the registry permisions? Keep in mind it should work on any username and any domain.
I tried to set the key permissions as [USERNAME] and [USERDOMAIN], but
I got Errors 1609 and 1406 on my trials...
I use DevStudio 9 ( I couldn't find a more appropriate forum...)
Thanks!

I found here...
http://knowledge.macrovision.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=Q107090&sliceId=
that I was trying to build a key directly under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE which apparently was a mistake.
So I moved the key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and now it works!
