SearchFileSystem Bean Progress Display

I'm helping the user search their systems for a particular installation that didn't use an installer.

So I added a SearchFileSystem Wizard bean to find the executable and it in facts works fine and does indeed find the file.

The problem is that I'm not getting any progress notification at all.

I've set the User interface option to Progress and I've set a Description, but the progress bar sits there at 0%...

Hmmm... I'm not sure it can display a reliable percentage progress, anyway, since there's no way to know how long the search will take. Perhaps use the StandardProgess user interface, possibly adding an animated GIF (such as one of the "barberpole" images that ship with ISMP) to indicate that something is happening?

Can you tell me how you display an animated gif in the InstallWelcome dialog. Which control does it sit inside?

Not sure what is meant by the StandardProgess user interface?

I am trying this with Installshield 11 Professional basic msi project
