Redistributables does not installed by standalone builds
Hi, I included the MFC 7.1 merge module in a InstallScript MSI project. It builds fine and installs correctly on my computer with full version of IS 2008. However, when I build the same project on a server with only standalone version of IS 2008, the MFC 7.1 library will not install.
Anyone knows the trick to make that runtime library installed correctly. Thanks.

Does the help topic "Adding Redistributables to the Build Machine for the Standalone Build" help? Otherwise, does comparing an MSI package from the full-build system with one from the standalone-build system reveal anything?

I copied all the merge modules from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules to the same location on my build machine but installer built still doesn't include the merge modules I needed.
Finally found out I had to use the -o switch to specify the location where issabld.exe should look for the merge modules, then all worked fine.
Thanks!
