Reboot prompt during a deferred custom action

Hello, 

Is there a way to schedule a reboot at the end of the installation from a deferred custom action?

If I am not wrong I cannot access the secure custom properties in deferred custom action function.

How can I prompt for a reboot(or set a property that can be accessed by the "schedulereboot Custom action") at the end of an installation

I Understand that your query is regarding force reboot after installation completes.

There is a Windows Installer property called REBOOT. If you set REBOOT to "Force" the Windows Installer will force a reboot.

Kindly try using this property and check if you able to achieve the required behavior.

 You can also try to reboot the machine your using custom action directly, or write a different custom action and sequence it after your deferred CA and that should reboot your machine, Please refer below community post which discusses similar issue,
