Q112115: HOWTO: Upgrading Projects to InstallShield 12
Hi there,
I am working on converting my existing installation to IS2008 and using the following article as a reference:
Q112115: HOWTO: Upgrading Projects to InstallShield 12
There are a number of links in this article, for example:
www.installshield.com/news/newsletter/0308-articles/CustomActionData.asp
However, this link takes be to www.acresso.com site and not the CustomActionData article.
Is there any way you could either post the content of this article here on the forum or make temporarily both www.acresso.com and www.installshield.com sites working?
Thanks,
Natalia

I think the tips mentioned in that article should be available here:
http://www.acresso.com/products/installation/installshield.htm?tabContent=/products/installation/installshield/res_4744.htm.

I think the change of ownership creates quite a bit of problems to the customers.
For example, we used to be able to click on an error code after a compilation of a project and it brought up the info from the Macrovision's site. Now all we get is "No internet connection is detected".
The transition, in my opinion, haven't been executed properly when most of the previous web links are no longer working. Shouldn't they have just been re-directed automatically?
