Product Version auto increment (build number)

Hello,

I have a question concerning the "product version".

We need unique (autoincremented) build numbers. Otherwise the resulting MSI-Packages (msi-files) can not be identified correctly by software distribution tools.

Is there a chance to automaticly increment the "product version" everytime a build is run?

  • 2.00.00002
  • 2.00.00003
  • ...

If you are doing Stand Alone Builds you can pass ISVersion on the command line. That way you can do whatever you want to it.
