Hi after my product has successfully installed, the msiexec still hangs about. I have checked the task manager /processes before the application begins to install (No MSI's ruinning) and after my product has installed. But the msiexec process still hangs. How do I make sure that all processes related to my install have copleted, so there isn't an msi still running? Does the sequence/custom action InstallFinalize handle this?
I gather the msiexec service (a start-when-needed service) process remains in memory for 10 minutes or so after installation; does it go away a while after the last installation?
