Problem with accessing USERPROFILE during silent install
I have custom actions which configure and copy XML based configuration files to the logged on user's profile (example: C:\Documents and Settings\). I use Session.Properties("USERPROFILE") to get to this location.
The CAs work like champs during UI based installation but they resolve USERPROFILE to just "C:\" when the same MSI is run silently
Can somebody help this lost soul?
Thanks!

I found the resolution actually in the InstallShield 12 forum!
If anybody is curious - see the thread -

If anybody has a better or more efficient idea, i am all ears!
Thanks.:)
