I'm trying to remove a registry key created by one of my setup prerequisite beofre my main installation process, but it either failed to execute with the error code 2762 or it just won't execute, anybody can help? The code is in VBSCript:confused: :confused:
If you want to remove registry information during installation, perhaps look into using the RemoveRegistry table. It's exposed in the Direct Editor view, and the MSI help explains what to enter.
(That error means a deferred custom action is scheduled outside the range of InstallInitialize and InstallFinalize in the Execute sequence, which is where actions that make system changes should go.)
