Problem creating shortcuts on 64 bit OS
I have Installshield 2010 basic MSI project that I upgraded from Installshield 2008 primarily because we have to support Windows 7 and 64 bit OS.
I have one msi that I want to run on both 32 and 64 bit os (not sure if that is even possible or not). After making 64 bit aware the msi install a java application in the correct program files folder and everything else is working fine except the shortcuts. On a 32 bit machine, the shortcuts are placed correctly at:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
But on a 64 bit machine, the shortcuts are placed at:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
My template summary is still Intel;1033
Please help me in creating the shortcut in the right place on 64 bit machines.
Thanks in advance.
