Prerequisite - "Copy from Source" not working with Spaning
I have rewritten my problem install fresh in 2010 and have run into a problem. If I use automatic or custom spanning (setup fills 3 CDs) all of my prerequisites will try to download from the web even though I have chosen to copy them from the source media. InstallShield will build the folder with all of my prerequisites, but the setup will not use them. Is there any way I can fix this for a spanned release? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have included the logs with the install stopped after the first prereq tries to install. I can't see a difference that would do a download in the case of a spanned install and a from media install when everything is on one disk.
I am trying to find any reason or a workaround to the problem that will allow my Prerequisites to install from the source media (extract from setup.exe is too slow) AND allow me to span multiple CDs.
