I'm attempting to include the Windows Installer 4.5 prerequisite in my project, but even though I set it to "Extract from Setup.exe" it always creates an IsSetupPrerequisites directory at build time instead of embedding it in my setup.exe. Has anyone encountered this, and more importantly, found a solution?
Have you set the release setting to follow or match the prerequisite setting? The release setting can override the settings chosen on each prerequisite, which can cause the behavior you describe.
