Hello, I was wondering how can I set some properties in my merge modules from my msi installer. Any ideas? Or maybye how can i set some properties in msi from advanced ui project?
Properties you create in a merge module project get the module GUID appended to their names. Look at the generated .msm file in direct edit mode or using a tool like Orca or InstEd) to see what I mean. If you want to set such a property in your main setup, you must use the full name, including the GUID. On the other hand, properties created in the main setup are also available in the merge module.
