Options for multiplatform native installers

Hi,

I use ISMP a lot - and I've been hoping to move to 11.5. However, we have a new client app that needs an installer, and the 30+ megs of a bundled JVM is considered too big for a download.

I need to support Windows / Linux / MacOS X, and was hoping to have a common interface between them like we normally have with ISMP.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Does 11.5 somehow support this and I missed it?

Hi,

Why don't you use the JVM search instructions then, instead of bundling ?

Hi,

Because I cannot guarantee Java (and the correct version of it) is installed on the machine. It would then make it a prerequisite - and only for installation.
