New to Mobile Installers
Using InstallShield 2010 Express.
The person that set up the installers is no longer with my company. I was "volunteered" to take up the installers which for the most part I understand. But I have a mobile installer that is set to be Platform/Processor Independent that works with all of the mobile OS that I have tried but Windows Mobile 2003  . I didn't even see this option in the specific platform/processors listing.
I have .net Compact Framework 3.5, Microsoft SQLCe 3.5, and Microsoft SQLCe 3.5 Dev included under the redistributables. The installer pushes the files to the device and the database is created when I launch my application but when it try to connect to the database I get error " Error connecting to database file. Unspecified error". Is there something I need to do in the installer? Or do I need to tell the Devs that it really is something that they have to fix? They say nothing is different

Do you receive the same error if you create a smart device CAB for your application using Visual Studio, and install it manually onto the device in question?
