.NET Framework helper - IS Prerequisiste

Hello,

What is InstallShield .NET Framework 3.5 Redistributable Helper (Helper.exe) located in the .net FX 3.5 SP1 prerequisistes folder and what is the benefit calling it instead of dotnetfx35.exe directly?
