MSI not launching after upgrade of InstallScript MSI Project 2008 to 2010

Hi all,

I recently upgraded an InstallScript MSI Project from InstallShield 2008 to InstallShield 2010. I received the following warning during upgrade.

ISDEV : warning -6038: Removing unsupported Windows 9x MSI Engine Release Setting from release: Default
ISDEV : warning -6038: Removing unsupported Windows 9x MSI Engine Release Setting from release: Intranet


The problem is:
The setup runs fine, extracts the MSI, but the MSI never launches.?????

There are no error messages or anything that could and i am literally stuck. Please help. Thanks

I am having a similar issue using InstallShield2014, sadly I see that your post is from long time ago and none answered it. Do you know someone from Flexera is supporting this Forum?

I hope someone can help giving information of it, I have create another thread: Problems in my project after upgrading InstallShield 12 to Installshield2014
