Logging Installation Progress Screen..???
Hi,
i'm new to installscript. i'm working on installshield 2008, winxp -sp2, not a silent mode installation.
i'm creating a log file for my project which needs to capture each n every action during the Progress Screen Window: for eg -
copying abc.exe to c:\text\..
updating ab.xyz..
Clearing disk..
deleting files asd.cvb..
Now the question is, how can i capture these kinda events so as to log 'em?
Plz suggest any relevant Inbuilt functions or any kinda code...
Please help..
**i've created a function to update my log file during the course of the installation & for every action, corresponding entries r made by calling the function...
