Leave some files when uninstalling?

Hello,
Is there any way to force my installation to leave selected files when uninstalling?
Thanx for help,

PS. Files selected by installer creator, not by user.

In the properties for the component, there is a field Permanent. Setting it's value to Yes will keep the file after uninstallation.

Note that validation rules require that anything installed to SystemDir should be marked as Permanent
