Issue :: Upgrade InstallShield InstallScript project from IS12 to IS2011

Hello,
I have an InstallShield Installscript project that I recently upgraded from InstallShield 12 to InstallShield 2011. I'm having an issue when I go to Remove using Add/Remove programs. It appears when I Install version 1 (project done in InstallShield 12) and then install version 2 (same project upgraded to InstallShield 2011), I have to select Remove twice. To be more granular, I select Remove from Add/Remove programs and it runs the install again. Once complete, I select Remove again and this time it uninstalls...Please advise a product update or workaround for this. Thanks.

Check the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress. This key is set if there is an install in progress.
