Installshield installer not uninstalling WCF service
We are installing a WCF service through installshield installer. But while uninstalling from control panel, the installer does not uninstall the service fully and also not removing the files from C:\inetpub\wwwroot. Please help.
What I usually do to troubleshoot the problems is to have MSIEXEC create a verbose log file. You can do this on uninstall as well as during the install
MSIEXEC /L*v /i - to install
MSIEXEC /L*v /x - to uninstall
The log file is about the only clue to some of these sorts of issues.
Reading the log file and understanding it can be a whole other level of learning.
