Hello, My company is right now using Installshiled 6.3 for installing our product. We want to make our install crossplatform. Can I use Installshiled 11.5 multiplatform professional ? Will I need to recode the scripts written on Installshield 6.3 ??
The InstallScript language has changed since the version you are using. It may be better to recode the scripts. The help file that comes with the product will tell you what code has been obsoleted and/or what is used to replace it. It may be also able to convert your project, and recode some of the script for you. But like all automatic conversion you should always go through it and make sure it didn't screw it up on you.
