Installshield 2018 crash on my profile

Hello, don't know if someone has experience this,

Installshield crashes but only happen to my account/profile however 2016 was working fine

Hi jeromebt,

With this it may be little tough to find out cause for the crash,if possible attach installshield.log & dump files that you could see from C:\PROGRAMFILES_X86\InstallShield\2018\System.

How to reproduce the issue:

Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
in your map H Home drive
create 2 directories as
H:\Personal and h:\Desktop

in Personal add your map drive e.g: h:\personal
in Desktop add your redirection desktop e.g. h:\Desktop

then Tuner or Installshield will get the issue with version 2018

The work around is either to map my H drive as an Adminsitrator or do a subst H: C:\temp and create in c:\temp the folder Desktop and Personal or stop the redirection before using these 2 programs
