Installing or copying files dynamically

Hi,

I need to copy/install files (help files) dynamically based on the product type.

Eg : We have one basic msi project, and which contains 3 types (say a, b, c) and while installing the application we will get the input from user about the type. based on the user selection we will enable \ disable the links in the application.

now for the above 3 types we have separate help files, and that need to be copied based on the user selection. (for a we need to copy a.chm.....)

That means in the project i will add 3 help files and while installation i have to select the file based on the product type

Please tell me how to do this, (We are using Installshield 2010, basic msi project)

simple you can create an custom action that copies the file depending upon the user input.

Thank you very much, but i done in a different way, i just created 3 components and gave the "condition"..
