Installer not working on Linux ( JDK/JRE 1.5)

Hi ,

I have created a installer for Linux using ISMP 5.x, it will work if i have lesser version of jre/jdk 1.5, means installer works fine with 1.4.x, 1.3.x but same installer will not work if i install jdk 1.5 version on linux.

Could you please help me this. Is ISMP 5.x supports jre/jdk 1.5.x ?

If not what will be the solution for this, do I need to use ISMP 11.5 ?

What is the error messsage you are getting?. Did you try using a Linux 1.5 bundled JRE in your installer?

I think you are better off using ISMP 11.5/InstallAnywhere 8
