Details about my installation project: Type: InstallScript InstallShield version: 16, InstallShield 2010
Issue: I have included MFC 9.0 megre module in my project. I normally create new installer to get included my C++ code changes in the latest installer.
I found that - If I upgrade my installer from earlier version to the latest version sometimes icon1 appers and sometime icon2 appears.
If icon1(Installing MFC 9.0) appears, all next consecutive upgrades of the installer works fine. If icon2(Installing) appears, all next consecutive upgrades of the installer gives error 1706: No valid source could be found for [2]. The windows installaer cannot continue.
I want to remove error 1706 from the installation, I looked into many post but not able to get solution for that.
Also, why there is difference in the message? any help in this issue will be highly appreciated.
