Installation size

I am currently evaluating IS2008. I have upgraded a Professional 7 project.
However it seems that the resultant installs are ~700k bigger.
Is this to be expected? Have I missed something? Is there anyway to reduce this?

One of the main reasons for upgrading is to get smaller installs. The marketing blurb talked about better compression choices although the documentation now says this is not for InstallScript projects (!).

Any ideas?

even im facing the same problem despite the betterment of compression ratio.my initial setup was 450mb(with IS12) and remains same with IS2008..
