InstallShield ask for feature which is not install
Actually we are having a problem which it has been happened more frequently.
When we try to open the programme the following message appears: «The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available».
We think that this message appears when the application doesn’t found any component. Commonly, when we move any component, the installshield reinstall the application again, without asking for it.
But in this case, nothing has been removed and the installshield doesn’t install automatically.
We believe that this problem it might be caused by the updates of Windows, because all the customers told us that the only thing they do was update it.
Our setup application has been made with InstallShield 2008 Express.

I would agree with you--the behavior seems to be a matter of MSI reinstalling the missing/removed components since Express produces MSI based installation packages.
This is called Auto-Repair or Self Healing.
Look to this thread which outlines troubleshooting auto-repair issues.
Are components being moved or removed on the end user machines?
