We are in the verge of changing from windows XP to Windows 7 and we were repackaging our software. We have InstallShield Scripting Engine 11.50.0.42618 and we would like to know if InstallShield Scripting Engine 11.50.0.42618 is compatible with Windows 7. If not, What version is compatible and supported?
InstallShield 11 was never verified for support against Windows 7. However since InstallShield 12 (including InstallShield 2008 and higher as well) there is no need for a separate scripting engine, so I believe this requirement is obsolete (unless you're using older versions of InstallShield or AdminStudio which don't even support Windows Vista).
