InstallShield License

Hello,

I've changed my box, and my serial number is not working any more, not sure if i did something wrong.

Here are the steps.

1. Uninstall Installshield 11 Pro from my old pc connected to internet.
2. Install Installshield 11 Pro to my new pc also connected to internet.
3. Internet Activation fails.
4. Mail Activation, no response from Macrovision.

What can i do?,
Does any one have an email address or contact information for this?

Hello,

I wrote to support@macrovision.com, installshieldsupport@macrovision.com with no luck.
Also, i can't read Note ID: Q111672, is not showing anything at http://support.installshield.com/kb/view.asp?articleid=Q111672.

According to this http://www.macrovision.com/support/7252.htm all my steps were right.

This is a very stupid problem!

i don't have any, i sent my license and product information to installshieldsupport@macrovision.com and they've fixed the problem.

My problem was that when I went to uninstall the product it was (unknown to me) behind a firewall that blocked the ports used to release the license key.

Would be nice if it told you this before it proceeded with the uninstall.
