Since the Windows Installer database will not allow both 32-bit and 64-bit installs in a single msi database (right?), I wondered if a pure Installscript project might allow it. Has anyone tried this or know if it would work?
I need to install USB device drivers for both 32 and 64 bit platforms, and would like to do it from one install if possible.
Yes, pure InstallScript project supports installing 32 and 64 bit driver packages within a single Setup. Just make sure to enable DIFx support at the Product Properties.
