I am new in installshield world. I have few quries regarding InstallShield.
1. Is it possible to create .msi using InstallScript MSI?
2. What whould be the possible issues with Microsoft SMS If I create installer using Installscript MSI?
3. Is it possible to Install NDIS IM driver using Driver Wizard?

A better option might be to use a Basic MSI project, possibly with InstallScript custom actions. InstallScript MSI projects are generally used when a better UI than Basic MSI is required; but since SMS runs installations silently, that shouldn't be an issue.

But Installscript MSi does not create .msi it creates only .exe file.
There is any way to do solve this issue. I want to create only .msi using

Check your release settings via the Release Wizard, you probably have it set to make 1 setup with the MSI and cab(s) wrapped in it...

Hi,
Yes Installscript MSI makes .msi, .exe and .cab files.
But it does not make only msi file like basic msi file.
Can I create only .msi file in InstallScript MSI?
Thanks and Regards,
Anand Choubey

Please see KB article Q108166.
Out of curiosity, though, why use an InstallScript MSI instead of MSI with InstallScript custom actions for a silent SMS installation? If you haven't yet, looking at the help topics under Getting Started > Working with Projects > Determining Which Installation Project Is Right for You might be of use.
