Inferring a port number from a selected website
I am allowing the user to select from a list of websites on an IIS machine which lets them install a webservice on an already existing website (e.g. Default web site... or something else).
The issue I am having is that if they select something else (another website) and I leave the port as default (80) then the webservice installs under Default Web Site. It will only install in the one they select if the port numbers match too. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or maybe a solution around this problem?
Thanks
Ruskin
