Ignoring dependency files
InstallShield finds some dependencies an adds those files to the package. If I run Dependency Scanners I can see those dependencies. I want IS to ignore some (maybe all) dependencies since I know the target machines will have those dependencies installed already. I dont want to end up with some unnecessary files in my installdir and some unnecessary install size.
So is there a way to make IS to ignore those dependencies?

You can add files and registry entries to Filters.xml in the \Support folder - the online help describes this process.
