IS 2014 MSM Compatibility with IS 2013 Projects
Dear All,
Our company can no longer purchase a license for InstallShield 2013 so we are forced to take the InstallShield 2014 version. However, our projects are being developed in different development centers and teams are using different versions of InstallShield as well.
In this situation, some merge modules developed in IS 2014 will be consumed by installer projects using IS 2013. By right there shouldn't be any conflict as the MSM file itself is independent from the main installer.
I would like to ask some help from the IS experts to help me confirm that my assumption about the compatibility is correct?
Thank you so much!
Regards,
Arthur
