IIS is necessary for a feature
What would be the best way to check for an installed (enabled) IIS before a feature is selected ( setup type = standard or custom setup) for installation?
I have a system search that saves the Major Version in an installer property.
Any help is very appreciated!
Thanks
Marliese

Hi @marliese,
You can add a system search to check the system registry for the IIS installed or not,
more info can be found at the below link : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/install/installing-iis-7/discover-installed-components

Hi Banna,
unfortunately this is not correct-
If I remove all the roles and features of IIS still the components still have a value of 1 (after rebooting, too).
There should be a way asking the IIS metabase in the system search.
Kind Regards
Marliese
