IIS Components changes make install order different
It seems that certain changes to components linked to IIS make the installation order different which can result in empty web.config files. error icons(winxp) on the website in the IIS manager. Virtual directories not made and other missing IIS configuration.
Is there a way to influence this?
We have 2 virtual directories under 1 website where one virtual directory is not being made. I also made a installscript solution for the problematic virtual directory to solve the web.config problem.

Hi,
If you are using BASIC MSI project, use Server Configuration ->Internet Information Services wizard inorder to create virtual directories and website. Also updating webconfig sequence should be sequenced after InstallFinalize custom action
