I can not find NT Services in "Installshield objects/merge " of InstallShield 2012
I am evaluating your last version of Installshield(2012), I can not find many objects in "installshield object/merge modules", such as "NT Services" and "DirectX" . But they are existing in old version(10.5). Of course,I also can not find .msm file of NT Services in InstallShield foler. Can I copy .msm files from old version to the last version? If not, please tell me how to add these modules or objects into InstallShield 2012.

The .msm files from the old installation should work fine with InstallShield 2012, if copied over. However, I believe the modules we have removed are ones which provide support for operating systems which InstallShield no longer supports. For merge modules in that category, I would suggest evaluating whether you truly still need to include them or if you can remove them.

Assuming you mean a Windows Service, there's always the services node under the advanced configuration of a component in a Basic MSI project (http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/doc/Helpnet/installshield18helplib/FAQFilesNTService.htm) or the ServiceAddService and related APIs in an InstallScript project.
But someone brought it to my attention that you may not have access to the additional downloads in the Flexera Software Products and License Center because you are evaluating. I'm looking into the downloads we have for those like you who are evaluating which should actually restore the objects you are currently missing and will have to get back to you. (For fully licensed customers looking for these downloads, see the links in the third bullet in the Quick Links post.)

Thanks!
Do you also have a link for "InstallScript .NET Objects" too?
I'm also trying to evaluate 2012 as an upgrade for our 2010 version as the release notes for 2011 details a fix for a bug we have got in our version but I need the .NET Framework objects as they are part of our existing InstallScript installation.

InstallShield 2012 does indeed include the bug fix listed in the 2011 release notes.
Is there some way we can get IOB-000058755 fixed in InstallShield 2010 as a patch as we really don't want to have to upgrade to 2012 just for one bug fix as we don't need any of the other new features or changes?
