How to use old COM Extraction method?
According to Q113259 you can switch to the old COM Extraction method using the following steps:
[LIST=1]
Browse to the following registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InstallShield\14.0\Project Settings\
Create a new DWORD value named "ExtractTypeLibsToRegistryTable" with a value of "0".
Rebuild the setup.
I have installed the Premier version of InstallShield 2008 and the key from 1 do not exist.
However, I have the key "HKCU\Software\InstallShield\14.0\Professional\Project Settings\".
Don't know why it say Professional and not Premier but I guess that's an InstallShield thing.
Anyway, where EXACTLY should I put the key "ExtractTypeLibsToRegistryTable"?
In Project Settings from 1 or in the Project Settings I have?

The KB article has an error. I'll make sure that it gets corrected. The correct location is this:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\InstallShield\14.0\Professional\Project Settings
I hope that helps. Thanks for reporting the issue.
