How to show progress of downloading requirements during installation
Hi All, Need help. I'm using Basic MSI project and should download and install 3rd party software (.net 3 or another app, depending on the choice of user (feature)) during installation (after user has selected feature and has clicked "install"). There is functionality to do that in redistributables window, but when installation process is occured, progress bar doesn't show any progress, but progress is in _action_. So it is very confused situation for user, it takes time but user doesn't see any progress. When I set flag - "Install before feature selection" user can see nice window with downloading progress _before_ installation, but it is not applied for my product. So question is how I can show progress during downloading of requirements, during my installation? I'm using IS 2009 prof with SP1 and MSI Engine 3.1. Thanks.
