How to read parameter from rul-file

Suppose I run an installer like the following:

setup.exe /v"PARAMETER=Value"

How to read the value of PARAMETER from rul-file?

I understand that I need to use GetProfString and GetProfInt functions but maybe there is a complete example.

I run the installer with the following command

setup.exe /v"SHOWDBGMSGBOX=1"

Then I look into CMDLINE. It is equal to /v"SHOWDBGMSGBOX=1". But how to parse it?

Hi,

The PARAMETER is called as public property in MSI. We can access this property in (rul) file by using MsiGetProperty  function.
