How to pass the target directory to an EXE custom action?
Hi,
How do I pass the target directory to an EXE custom action? In a VS2008 setup project, this directory is passed through the CustomActionData property, using the value /targetdir="[TARGETDIR]\".
Kind regards,
Carlos Mallen

Hi Keerthana,
I need a custom action to add my Visual Studio Tools for Office applications to the inclusion list. See the link below:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb608607%28v=vs.90%29.aspx
I need to know what value does the target directory take in order to perform this task.
Thanks,
Carlos Mallen

Hi Carlos,
Could you please try passing the value of the TARGETDIR in the field "Command Line" that is present in the newly added EXE custom action.Kindly try this and let me know if it works.
