Using IS Express 2010 I have created numerous test installations. I cannot find a way to erase a project that is no longer needed. When I erase the project using Windows Explorer, the next time I launch IS the project is still listed on the start up page. Got to be something simple but I can't seem to find it! Thanks in advance 🙂
It should disappear automatically after ISE 2010 restart. Exit IS, delete your project and restart IS. If it is still there, try to click on the deleted project link in that list...
Thank you for your quick reply. Guess what? I erased 2 projects, launched IS Express and the 2 erased projects are still on the list on the start page:confused: When I click on the deleted project name IS tells be to restore the reference???
Wait a minute! I got it! I had to go into C:\InstallShield 2010 Projects and erase the ise files. I was just erasing the sub folder that contains all the files etc. under C:\InstallShield 2010 Projects. Thank you. The names are now removed from the start page 🙂
It would be nice if they had an "Del Project" option on the Edit menu.....
