How to edit the message box of the pre-requisite?
please refer to the screenshot...
the situation is after the installation of windows installer 3.1, it requires a restart, if the user selects no, the installer just stops without informing the user that it will resume after the reboot.
our resolution is that to change the message box text to ".... clicking NO will stop the installation process but will continue after the installation."
i still could not find this sentence (screenshot in the String Editor or the Direct Editor)... how can i edit this message box?
thankyou.

The message box comes from the pre-requisites editor (in-built)... I believe it it will be quite difficult to change the strings...

You can find this string in \Support\0x*.ini (0x0409.ini for English) under ID 1668. If this file isn't also visible in your built media, you will have to modify it there.

GetExp : thank you for your reply. I'm a bit worried about that one but MichaelU's answer solved it.
