How to detect Windows version
Hi all,
Project:
I need to create an installer for a device driver for different Windows version (98, 2000, XP and VISTA).
The files to install are not necessarily the same.
I’m a beginner in InstallShield.
What type of project I need to create? Basic MSI?
I tried to find how to differentiate the OS, but without success.
How to you do differentiate the files to copy depending on the OS of the PC?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks

hai friend,
before trying -praveen option check the title, there itself i clearly mentioned the property names. anyway I admit your joke.
create seperate components for each OS then set the condition.
eg:- compA for vista [condition : VersionNT=600]
-praveen
