How to convert .msi file to .exe?
Hi,
I know there are some commercial apps/programs that do this. But I wonder how hard for me to do it by myself? Anybody get ideas how to do it?
Thanks

Ideas? Of course...
Write a short c program that starts msiexec with the original msi file, add both to a self extractable file. Not very elegant, but should work.
Greetings,
Johannes - also interested in a better way

I dont have much idea on this. I think there is one option in release.
Any have .NET framwork is using iexpress which is used to create and exe.
Iexpress is available in system32 folder in windows XP.
Check whether it is useful for you to create an exe
