How to change the background color of the text control?

I want to change the backgound color and image of the text control at the top and make look alike same as all the standard controls.
All the standrad dialogs has ControlId_52 and ControlId_1200. I tried lot of different things like changing TAB order changing TAB stop but it doesn't seem to work for me.
